Welcome to Clayden Engineering

Clayden Engineering Ltd was born in the early 1970's as an off-shoot from a large road haulage and freight handling company. Its purpose was to provide a maintenance and repair service for their fleet of trailers and container stock.

The essential requirements of this service were to provide speed of response, quality of work and a tight control of cost.This successful formula quickly led to a demand for our services from an increasingly wide range of other trailer operating companies. And as Clayden's client list grew, so the range of our work extended. From repairs to refurbishment and alterations, then onto the design and fabrication of completely new trailers.
